The room was spacious and clean however it was extremely outdated. Their website claimed to have a newly renovated room so that is what I chose. Parking is free but requires a little bit of gambling. However, they still charged me $71 for resort fees. So I got a free comp room for two nights.
But otherwise, my stay was pretty good, and I would stay here again depending on how competitive the room rates were. And being in Atlantic City, of course there was a little bit of noise from the girls’ trip neighbors in the room next to mine (smile). I’m neither a gambler nor a smoker, so having to walk through the casino was a bit of a drag.
I had had a disappointing experience there that afternoon (weak drinks, tasteless food, poor service), but we lucked out that night with a great bartender who bore a slight resemblance to a famous actor, made fabulous drinks, and offered excellent service. After attending a concert at Hard Rock, my friends and I had drinks at the Margaritaville on the boardwalk level of Resorts. Front desk staff were friendly during check-in and check-out (which is never a given in a sometimes-chaotic space like Atlantic City), and the $10 parking was a huge plus. I had a room with 2 queen beds, and both the room and its bathroom were huge. Yes, it’s an older building that could benefit from updates, but I still enjoyed my stay.
